Build a new website using WordPress

WordPress is an excellent platform to use for your website. It can be used to build anything from a simple business card type website right way up to a full ecommerce platform or a complex brochure website. Tthere are a plethora of plug-ins available which enable WordPress to function in many ways — for instance you may want to have a contact form, and for this you could use the plug-in Contact form 7; or you may want to have an event manager, portfolio display, ou newsletter sign up. There are also several e-commerce systems available for WordPress and Woocommerce is perhaps the most well-known and widely accepted of these. Some of these plugins have plugins themselves allowing the plugins to be further extended. WordPress also has a theming system and can run child themes. The entire system is very easy to use and this has contributed to its widespread uptake. Currently WordPress powers aproximately 25% of the web and it has a wide community.  The programming of WordPress is also relatively easy to manage for most programmers without extensive knowledge of complex techniques by and large.
